The provision of psychological services will be maximized by providing independent contractors with a package that enables one to focus on their clients without the worries that typically accompany private practice.

Caseload
P&A will provide a full caseload of referrals, and you can work as much, or as little, as you choose.
Costs associated with rent or design
P&A provides a newly renovated, fully furnished, wheelchair-accessible office in downtown Truro.
Compensation
P&A has developed a competitive compensation package designed to recognize the value of team members over time, as well as incentive programs for contributions to team growth.
Private Practice isolation
P&A offers personalized training and development plans that may include regularly scheduled consultation meetings, mentoring, and supervision opportunities. This option is purely optional based on interest.
As a future P&A team member, you will possess the following:

Hold a relevant graduate degree (MA, MSc, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited university.

Be registered, in good standing, with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology OR must be eligible for registration. Registered and Candidate Register Psychologists are encouraged to apply.

Must possess appropriate professional liability insurance or have a willingness to obtain.

Have experience providing relevant assessment and/or treatment services to adults, adolescents, couples, and/or children.
