Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least two business days’ notice to cancel a session without penalty. Missed sessions or sessions cancelled without two business days’ notice, must be paid in full by you, regardless of the reason (emergency, bad weather, sickness, etc.). Business days are defined as Monday to Friday and do not include holidays and weekends. Monday sessions must be
cancelled by Thursday at 4 PM (in Nova Scotia’s time zone). Missed appointments are recorded as “missed appointments” on receipts for extended medical insurance plans and are generally not reimbursed.
We understand that there can be unforeseen circumstances and therefore are pleased to offer telephone or video sessions to support you in navigating unforeseen problems, like sickness or inclement weather. Contact us to arrange a telephone or video session if needed and we will be more than happy to accommodate.

To cancel appointments, please contact your therapist directly or call (902) 957-8133 to provide administrative staff with your name, appointment date and time, and assigned therapist. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please be sure to leave your contact number and let us know the best time to return your call.
